Supporting Jewish Widows and Orphans

B’ezri’s Widows & Orphans Fund is our largest and most comprehensive program, providing over 800 widows across Israel with consistent monthly stipends and the reassurance that they are not alone. While many non-profits help widows and orphans, B’ezri is the organization in Israel that commits to ongoing monthly support until each child leaves the home, allowing mothers to focus on their families and provide Jewish orphans with a steady foundation. The Torah (Shemos 22:20-23) tells us not to cause pain to widows and orphans, highlighting the importance of sensitivity to both their emotional and physical needs.
